Recently, Nanning Wuwei Airport Customs seized 3296 sets of intellectual property infringement charger sets in a shipment of goods and handed them over to subsequent departments for disposal.
On that day, customs officers at Nanning Wuwei Airport seized a total of 3296 mobile phone charging sets with logos such as "HUAWEI", "Xiaomi", and "VIVO" while supervising a shipment of goods. Due to the inability of the parties involved to provide legal and valid export authorization certificates from the relevant brand, after contacting the rights holder for confirmation, the batch of charger sets is infringing goods and has been handed over to subsequent departments for disposal.
Customs reminds that according to Article 91 of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, if the import and export of goods that infringe on intellectual property rights protected by laws and administrative regulations of the People's Republic of China, the infringing goods shall be confiscated by the customs in accordance with the law and a fine shall be imposed; Those who commit crimes will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law.
