Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued consumer tips for five types of products: electric bicycles, electric bicycle helmets, household electromagnetic stoves, mobile power supplies, and electronic door locks. The aim is to help consumers scientifically purchase and use related products and prevent potential safety risks by introducing the common knowledge of purchasing and using these five types of products. The State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to focus on consumer goods of public concern, strengthen product quality and safety supervision, and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
Mobile power supply, commonly known as "power bank", is a power system composed of lithium batteries or battery packs, corresponding circuits, and casings, which can provide stable DC output. Consumers should pay attention to the following points when purchasing and using:
Common sense of purchasing
1. Choose reputable and legitimate merchants with complete certificates and licenses to purchase. Pay attention to checking the product name, model, manufacturer name, trademark or identification mark, rated input voltage and current, rated output voltage and current, and other product information.
3.When purchasing a mobile power supply, one should choose products that comply with relevant mandatory national standards, and request invoices or other shopping vouchers from the operator as important evidence for future rights protection.
3. Check the appearance of the product. The surface of the product should be clean, without obvious deformation or mechanical damage, and the interface contacts should be free of rust.
Use common sense
1. Carefully read the product manual before use, and operate and use it correctly according to the requirements.
2. When charging, check if the charging port is in good contact and place it away from flammable and explosive materials for charging.
3. After fully charging, unplug the charging plug in a timely manner.
4.If abnormal heating is found in the mobile power supply, interface, charging cable, etc. during use, it should be stopped immediately.
5. If the mobile power supply accidentally falls or collides, check whether the outer shell is cracked or swollen, and whether there are loose components inside that produce abnormal sounds. If such phenomena occur, stop using it. Do not disassemble, modify, or repair mobile power supplies without authorization.
6.When the mobile power supply is not used for a long time, it should be placed in a dry place at room temperature to prevent short circuits or abnormal discharge when the interface comes into contact with other metal objects.
7. Waste mobile power supplies should be placed in the recycling bin or hazardous waste sorting bin of battery products according to environmental protection and waste classification requirements, and cannot be discarded arbitrarily.
