SUNGROW applies for a patent for inverter control method, which can reduce inner tube stress

On May 29, 2024, the financial sector reported that according to the announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, SUNGROW Co., Ltd. applied for a patent entitled "an inverter and its control method", with the publication number of CN202410211539.5 and the application date of February 2024.
The patent abstract shows that the present application provides an inverter and its control method. The control method first generates various modulation signals of the ANPC three-level topology to ensure the realization of dual channel freewheeling; Then, for each modulation signal, the single channel freewheeling state within the current half cycle is set before and after each dual channel freewheeling state during its modulation cycle, as a dead zone for switching between non-zero output states; Moreover, the dead time after the end of the dual channel freewheeling state is a preset duration, so its value can be set according to the actual application situation, in order to increase the freewheeling time of the anti parallel diode after the end of the dual channel freewheeling state and achieve the goal of reducing the stress on the inner tube. In addition, the preset duration is used to compensate for the duration of each non-zero output state in the modulation cycle, so that the output characteristics of the inverter are not affected by the dead zone mentioned above.
