Securities Star News: According to data from Qichacha, Dongfang Electric (600875) has obtained a new invention patent authorization, titled "A method for balancing and controlling the temperature during the charging and discharging process of lithium-ion batteries". The patent application number is CN202210191395.2, and the authorization date is May 10, 2024.

Patent Abstract: The present invention discloses an air conditioning control method for balancing and controlling temperature of energy storage batteries. An acceleration calorimeter is used to record the variation curve of the heating power of the battery during charging and discharging at different rates over time. Then, the battery is charged and discharged at a temperature of 0.5 C~2 C. The heating characteristic curve of the battery charging and discharging process is introduced into the battery temperature control strategy. During the charging and discharging process, the air conditioning wind speed and outlet temperature are adjusted according to the battery voltage and time, achieving fine control of the battery temperature by the air conditioning device. Through this strategy, the temperature change during the charging and discharging process of lithium-ion batteries is less than 5 ℃, and the energy consumption of the air conditioning system is greatly reduced.
