The reason why the indicator light of the car charger does not light up

There may be several reasons why the indicator light of the car charger does not light up:



1. The charging indicator light filament is open circuit;

2. The fuse is blown, causing the indicator line to be blocked;

3. Open circuit or loose connector of indicator light or regulator power line wire;

4. The cable head on the battery pole is loose;

5. Ignition switch malfunction;

6. Poor contact between the generator brush and slip ring.

When encountering the problem of the charger indicator light not turning on, the following methods can be used to solve it:

1. Turn on the ignition switch, the charging indicator light does not light up, and the generator can generate electricity again after the engine starts, indicating that the charging system of the generator is normal, and the filament is open and can be replaced;

2. Turn on the ignition switch. When the charging indicator light is not on and the generator cannot generate electricity after the engine starts, turn off the ignition switch. If the fuse blows, replace it with a fuse of the same specification. Turn on the ignition switch and use a multimeter to check the voltage value on the fuse. If the voltage is zero, there is a fault in the ignition switch and the wiring between the ignition switch and the fuse, which should be repaired or replaced. If the voltage on the fuse is normal, check for poor contact between the generator brush and the slip ring or internal circuit failure of the regulator.

It should be noted that the above methods are for reference only, and specific solutions need to be determined based on the actual situation. If the above methods cannot solve the problem, it is recommended to go to a professional repair site for maintenance or replacement.
