1.What is an adjustable and stable DC power supply?

2. Working principle of adjustable and stable DC power supply

After being rectified and filtered by diodes, AC power passes through high-power and medium power transistors, which conduct output power through resistors. According to the design of the capacitor, a resistor can be connected in series to supply power to the Zener diode before the voltage stabilizes, in order to maintain a stable voltage difference between the two poles of the diode. This stable voltage is called the reference voltage.

Then use a transistor or integrated block as a comparator. One end (+output) is connected to the reference voltage, and the other end (b) is connected to a current limiting resistor, which is connected to the central adjustable part of the adjustable resistor. Some poles are connected to the b poles of high-power and medium power transistors to control and regulate the conduction of the transistors.

In short, the principle is to compare the output voltage with the reference voltage through a comparison tube (manifold), and control the conduction current and voltage of high and medium power transistors to achieve voltage regulation. The conduction of the transistor can be controlled by adjusting.
