The group standard "Technical Specification for LED Driver Power Supply" has been officially released

Recently, the group standard "LED Driver Power Supply Technical Specification" (hereinafter referred to as "Specification") drafted by enterprises such as Huizhou Leishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Sanxiong Aurora Lighting Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Maoshuo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., which was initiated by Guangdong Lighting Society, was officially released on the national group standard information platform and will be implemented from September 1st.


The group standard "Technical Specification for LED Driver Power Supply" has been officially released

The Specification specifies the technical requirements and test methods for LED driver power supplies for lighting, which are applicable to DC power supplies below 1000 V or AC power supplies of 50H or 60H, as well as LED driver power supplies for outdoor LED lamps/lighting devices. LED driver power supplies for indoor LED lamps/lighting devices can also refer to the Specification.

In terms of basic technical requirements, the "Specification" proposes that LED power supplies for lighting should comply with the requirements of IEC 61347-2-13:2016 in terms of safety, GB 17625.1-2022, GB 17625.2-2007, GB/T 17743-2021, GB/T 18595-2014 in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, and GB/T 24825-2022 in terms of performance.

In addition, the "Specification" also proposes additional requirements and test methods for LED driving power supply technology for lighting, including key life indicator labeling, key component temperature, MF index, estimated life value, reliability of products under high temperature and high humidity conditions, switch performance, reliability of products under high temperature, temperature shock, surge immunity, radiation emission and conducted emission, dust and solid foreign matter prevention and waterproofing, protection type and environmental conditions.

As the "heart" of lighting products, the technical indicators of LED driver power are closely related to the lifespan of lamps. Therefore, the introduction of the "Regulations" will provide authoritative technical guidance for LED driver power supply production enterprises for lighting, and have an important driving role in improving the quality and technical performance of lighting products in Guangdong Province and even the national lighting market.
