Patent Abstract: This application provides a protection circuit and a switching power supply, which includes a detection module, a switch module, a control module, and a leakage protection module. The detection module is used to detect whether the switching power supply is overheated or overvoltage; The first end of the switch module is connected to the power supply, and its control end is connected to the detection module. The switch module can be configured to conduct when the detection module detects that the switch power supply is overheating or overvoltage; The control module includes protection pins, which are used to achieve the purpose of overvoltage protection or over temperature protection for the product when the detection module detects that the switch power supply is over temperature or over voltage to a certain extent (even if the voltage of the protection pin reaches the protection threshold); At the same time, the leakage protection module is connected to the second end of the switch module and the protection pin.
