ZTE applies for a patent on lightning protection circuit and protection method for power supply, improving the problems of large sampling delay and low sensitivity in lightning protection

Article Source:China National Intellectual Property Administration | Author:Financial Sector | Issuing Time:2024.04.09
On April 9, 2024, the financial sector reported that according to the announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, ZTE Corporation applied for a patent entitled "Lightning protection circuit and protection method of power supply", with the publication number of CN117856157A and the application date of September 2022.

The patent abstract shows that the present application provides a lightning protection circuit and protection method for a power supply, which relates to the field of circuit technology and is used to improve the common problems of large sampling delay and low sensitivity of input lightning protection in totem bridge free PFC circuits. The circuit includes: a first current detection circuit, a control circuit, a first element, and a second element. The cathode of the first element is coupled with the positive output terminal of the totem bridge free PFC circuit, the anode of the first element is coupled with the cathode of the second element, and the anode of the second element is coupled with the negative output terminal of the totem bridge free PFC circuit. Among them: the first current detection circuit is used to detect the current flowing through the first and second components, obtain the first current detection signal, and send the first current detection signal to the control circuit; Control circuit, used to control the switching off of the transistor in the totem bridgeless PFC circuit based on the first current detection signal.
