On April 5, 2024, the financial sector reported that according to the announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. applied for a patent entitled "backflow prevention control circuit and two-way Buck/Boost converter, power circuit, and electrical equipment", with the publication number of CN117833653A, and the application date of December 2023.



The patent abstract shows that the present invention provides a backflow prevention control circuit and method for a bidirectional Buck/Boost converter, as well as a bidirectional Buck/Boost converter, power supply circuit, and electrical equipment. The circuit adds a voltage sampling circuit and a voltage detection circuit to increase the sampling of the inductor terminal voltage, so that when the load circuit is lightly loaded or unloaded, it can timely determine whether there is a risk of backflow of the inductor current. When determining the risk of backflow, the corresponding power transistor in the bidirectional Buck/Boost converter is controlled to disconnect, effectively preventing the energy loss of the circuit caused by the inductor current backflow, and improving the reliability of the power supply circuit.
